The Aviva Gittle eBooks 2013 Top 10 Self-published Children’s Picture Books list is here. Each day, beginning January 31st, a winning entry will be revealed. (Starting with #10 and working our way up!)
Let’s prove to the world that self-published books are as good — heck, better — than traditionally published books. Self-published authors pour their hearts, souls and money into creating, publishing and marketing their own books. Show Aviva your best!
Thank you to all the wonderful self-published authors who submitted their books for consideration.

Hi Aviva I am so glad to learn about your work. I have published two children’s books and am currently finalizing my 3rd book. I would have loved to join your contest but my books are 24 pages and have more than 1500 words.
This is all a new experience for me and have much more to learn. I need advice on making my hard cover books into ebooks.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful advice and suggestions that you post. What a big heart:)!
Thanks for the kind words, Melba 🙂 You’ve given me an idea for an article in my “Birth of a Children’s Book” blog series on publishing an eBook versus a print book. I’ll add that to my list of topics.
What a great way to start off the New Year! Thank you for giving fellow authors this opportunity.
I just emailed you my submission for my third book, “Guess What is at the Zoo?”

Hi, Sue: I did get your book (just emailed you confirmation). Next year, I have to remember to tell those authors mailing print copies to also email me so I can readily confirm receipt. The Gittle List will be posted by the end of January!
